Thank you

Really, why do some people bother posting chance threads like this. I am not trying to sound rude, but when you are a finalist in an international competition, which Intel ISEF is, you have an exponentially better chance at any school than a regular applicant. Obviously in, no need to get chanced. And if he doesn’t make it for MIT, I’m sure HYPSC would be more than willing to pick him up.

Tell him to stop worrying.

Also, I’m not sure, but maybe you should put less detailed info about his awards. Might make him identifiable or something.

International Intel?!?!?!? Dang, nice.

Chances are good, but remember that MIT is always based on the match. However, the academics/extracurriculars look solid. He shouldn’t take it personally though if he isn’t accepted.

is your son a person, does he have feelings and dreams

Sir/Madam, tell him to stop worrying. Also, any other sports related EC’s you didn’t mention? he appears to be more of a tech guy to me.

He has a good chance at Harvard, considering Harvard’s admission polices, it has 300 or so spots reserved for applicants who are academically very very unusual. He looks like one of those people.
