Hampshire closing was many years in the making, not really much to do with this administration I don’t think.
There’s a thread on closing. I personally, wouldn’t have worry on those recommended. If and that’s a big thing - but if they had issues it’d be many years down the line. These are good, solid names. They can be researched for finances ahead of time - again Forbes rates health (you’d see some big names with a C and some you hadn’t heard of with higher grades). Moody’s has bond ratings.
With publics, sometimes your risk is the closing of programs due to DEI or rights typed things - so whether Studies - black, Chicano, gender or more - the administration is taking diverse learning away.
It’s good you are thinking but I’m quite confident you can find a sub 40 - you’ve wavered back and forth on that - school - that will be here for decades and decades to come. So many are taking actions, in fact, so they can survive.
