Hi, my friend posted a chance me like my own but never got a response… She has a 3.995 GPA and her goal SAT scores are a 1750… She’s taken honors and AP classes all throughout her high school career. Along with teacher recommendations, college essays, community service, and extra-curricular actives, what are her chances of getting into her top two schools?
1)Virginia Tech
2) The University of Georgia
That depends on her actual extracurricular activities. Her goal SAT is somewhat low for VTech and UGA, though her GPA is strong. What are her EC’s in detail? How many hours does she spend on activities per week?
Not sure on her actual hours, but she is in the National Honor Society for our high school and is a Varisty soccer player and track runner. Say she finishes high school with with 40 or 50 hours, what is her percentage than?

The varsity teams look good on apps. If she writes good essays I would say she is a low reach-high match.
Sorry to ask but what do you mean by low match or high match?
There are three categories of schools: safety, match, and reach. The three main categories are further divided into low, mid, and high. For example, a low match is a school that would be easier for you to get into than a high match or low reach, and so on.
Negative amounts of chances
