I am not sure what your goals are here? If you were to receive a full or partial aid package can you go? The aid package won’t cover substantial expenses like international travel or breaks. Sometimes aid packages will cover books or fees and sometimes not. Getting a wait list admission does not really mean you almost got in. It is more like a courtesy no.

@bogicat I think what @SweetBoy1 is trying to say is whats your plan? Like if you don’t get the full FA you want can you still attend? And even with full FA they won’t cover plane costs you need to make and other materials like books, etc. And that waitlists are basically polite rejection letters (I agree on this one)
yup im only going if they give me full FA upon acceptance (possibility 1%)
my goals were pretty clear of acceptance + full FA and I never asked for partial?
I’m only going to give it a hope if I get full FA. 
aids like from Deerfield might cover flights and books so its rlly up to the school

Tbh getting partial FA is lucky enough, even students from the US don’t get full FA

yup but partial doesnt help me by even a bit if its like 10%. so they should offer to other students
