What is your coursework like? Have you completed all UC requirements? Any honors/AP/DE courses? All of these schools seem like long shots with your GPA, to be honest. I like the suggestion of starting at a CC and then TAGing into a UC. Do you know about the TAG program?

Add one more vote to the âthis is confusingâ. You are indicating that your parents are wealthy, but are using some of the funds that have been allocated for college on this extended stay at the private boarding school? Your personal borrowing ability is going to be limited. So the schools on your list may be out of reach, even if you are in state for the California schools. However, this doesnât seem to make a lot of sense. You need to first clarify with your parents what they are able/willing to pay with respect to your college expenses.
