I think they suspended plans to administer the ACT via computer. It’s still in person.
The science section is really data interpretation. You can do a few sections for practice, and once you’re familiar with all their ways of presenting data, you’ll do well. The best way to prepare for it is to simply do sections from retired ACTs, which are legally released and in the public domain. You can find them by googling. Reddit has an entire section on ACT prep.
