Thanks for all the advice. You are right that I should diversify the schools I’m applying to but I personally wouldn’t want to attend a community college or any other very uncompetitive college (i know this sounds kinda wrong). What schools would you recommend if I’ll likely only be able to stay in the Northeast and am trying to prioritize staying on Long Island? As for my financial situation, I’ll have to figure that out with my parents but all I do know is that they’re willing to take out a loan if I get accepted to a very prestigious school (which is very unlikely).
