These are purely stats, and I guess UChicago looks for that “innovative,” or “creative” undercurrent in students. But based on simply these, do you think I stand a chance? Why or why not?

:)Anyone?

Your SAT is in the range but if you think you can improve your math score, which according to you is possible, than you’ll be in the higher end of the SAT range. (Class os 2015 25-75% was 1420-1530 CR+M.) Unfortunately, your 3.4 GPA is going to hurt you a bit. So by the raw numbers, you are less likely to be admitted due to your GPA.

Your extracurriculars definitely show your interest and passion but there isn’t really anything that “stands out.”

That’s all I can say with the limited information. Keep in mind that your essays will play a significant factor in showing what kind of a person, student, and thinker you are. There have been many students admitted with low “numbers.” If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Good luck!
