Just to clarify, you are a current senior and you have already applied? Or are you a junior?

Not relevant for UC / CSU (as I’m sure you are aware). Were you also planning to ask about other universities?

Already applied. Some other Californian and Canadian schools are on the list as well, but UCs/CSUs are the target.

Cal Poly SLO uses 9-11th grades with the 8 semester Honors point cap for their GPA calculation so can you recalculate?

Just to clarify, if Bioengineering is not an option, you are applying to Molecular Biology or Biology? Or is Biology/Molecular your primary major for the majority of the campuses?

4.22 for Cal Poly.

The majority of campuses were Biology/Molecular Biology. One or two were bioengineering. Applied to all UC campuses except Merced because that one is already guaranteed.

Overall you are a competitive applicant and should have several school options from which to choose. Best of luck.

For the UC and CSU schools, your fantastic SAT won’t help. They are test blind.

Yep. Bummer. The application would be stronger (I think) if we could include test scores and letters of rec.

OP, GPA, course rigor and major wise you are top candidate for all UCs, CPSLO and SDSU. I would treat UCR, UCSC and UCM as safety. Nothing much you can do now, other than wait and see. Good Luck.
