<p>No offense, but as an Acadecer, that’s not that hard… you just need good judges. Did you get medals in anything else?</p>
<p>This is going to sound harsh:
First off, I can’t really see you being “special” in anything. You seem to be involved in Mock Trial and Acadec and stuff, but your leadership lies in a calculus club… Get more board positions. Never settle for anything less than VP. Go for all or nothing, just a tip.</p>
<p>Secondly, your scores are quite low. I know three junior friends (I am a senior) who got successive scores of 2300, 2380, and 2400 on their first tries. Compared with them… you get my point. There are UBER geniuses out there, and you need to prove to the colleges that you are one too. You are planning to retake the test, right? Be prepared this time.</p>
<p>Your GPA is actually also on the low side, so i suggest you LOAD up your classes senior year, and I mean LOAD up your classes! Do all APs and stuff like that. Don’t let that “I hope to get straight As this semester” be a hope - do it. You’ll need it.</p>
<p>Now for the school verdicts… Depending on your location, Davis would definitely be a match, and SD and LA will be reaches. But Berkely, Cornell, and Georgetown are going to be some hard mothers to get into. Work hard, and don’t give up, kid. Your junior year classes are looking good. They might be able to bump you up.</p>
<p>I just have one question, what do you guys do in calculus club? I don’t mean to sound like I’m making a point, I’m just curious. Stick with mock trial and mock UN and get those SAT scores up.</p>
