chance me ~ big sports schools + lacs

i don’t really know how to do this so I’ll try my best and you can ask for additional info

about me: i’m a girl of color from NY who needs significant FA. i attend a nationally ranked private school.
SAT 1400 (800 r/w 600 math) (notoriously bad math student. will show that on my transcript haha)
gpa: 3.8 uw 4.0 w, class rank is unknown because school doesn’t provide
i have taken 4 aps and have gotten 4s on all of them (human geo, apush, bio, spanish)
senior yr classes: post ap spanish, post ap bio, ap comp gov, an english elective, advanced dance and precalc

clubs: my school’s newspaper, mental health club, sex ed club, gsa, affinity groups, dance club
ecs: 2 summers abroad in madrid for language immersion, interned for a mental health/female empowerment website, interned on a congressional campaign (she won!), volunteered at nyu langone, volunteered at boys and girls club, dance for 20 hours a week, varsity track all 4 years, won an individual league title and i’m captain (though i know athletics don’t really count because i don’t want to/can’t play in college)
rec 1: my apush teacher. junior year i went from an 85 uw first semester to a 96 uw 2nd semester. said i was one of his most improved students ever
rec 2: ap bio teacher who likes me a lot and i go to her office regularly just to chat

i applied to major in some form of international relations at all my schools and i want to minor in spanish

my college counselor said my common app essay is one of the best they’ve ever read. they were previously an AO at a top school in california.

my schools are: usc, notre dame, uva, umichigan, umiami, syracuse, tulane, upenn and my only LACs are trinity and conn college

i didn’t ED anywhere but i applied EA to michigan, uva, miami, and tulane. i am not fully sold on any school which is why i didn’t ED.

chance me? thank you in advance.

bump. one thing i’m worried about is demonstrated interest because i have not been able to visit any schools due to the fact that most of them are in different states, and it’s not financially feasible for me to fly out.

I’m only familiar with your LACs, and I think you have a good shot at those. I am not sure about what financial aid you might receive.

Thank you! @taverngirl

bump!
