You’ve got an amazing SAT score, great ECs, and a nice GPA considering a presumably hard course-load. Which is to say: you’re an average Brown applicant. You have as good of a chance as anyone, but there’s no use worrying about it, because it’s a coin flip. Be happy if you get in (which is a very real possibility – none of us really know how real), and don’t worry if you don’t, because it won’t be because you did something wrong.

Brown is hard for everyone. It really has come down to if you’re lucky or not… i agree with stevenf, you’ve got a really good shot at getting in considering your ECs and sat score. and dw your gpa is really good!

As for you and Brown though, I’d say you’ve got a solid chance. Brown is one of the roughest schools in the country when it comes time to get in, but you have the tools and the numbers to “shorten the hole”, if you’ll pardon the golf analogy. I’d say it’s a low-to-mid reach. If you win the Siemens competition, that’ll jump to a sky-high match/low reach. Good luck!

Honestly, I would say to just take a deep breath and just go with the flow. My stats are very unimpressive, if I must say so myself. However, I was accepted. Don’t worry my friend, if it was meant to be, i’ll happen.
