Hi Guys! I am applying to seven schools for high schools this fall and I was wondering how good my chances were of getting into them. My top choice is Choate Rosemary Hall by far, and I was just curious to know what you guys thought about my application. Here’s some info about me:
I am in honors geometry, I have all A’s or A+ (maybe a couple of A-), I’ve been playing basketball for about seven years, and I am currently the head captain for our boys Varsity team. I was also a co-captain for our cross country team, and co-captain for our lacrosse teams in past years. I have also received countless awards and titles for sports from my schools and also summer camps.
I did not submit my SSAT scores, and I don’t have any legacy at the schools I am applying to. My tours and interviews went quite well at all of the schools, and for Choate I would be applying as a day student.
I am a member of our schools theater production, I do photography, I am in the math counts club as well as our debates team (Model Congress).
I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to be rude. I just know how much this person cares about getting in and I wanted to make sure someone would respond as quickly as possible to his thread. Won’t do it again!
Yeah, I thought the person might’ve been trying to see different outcomes, like what if no legacy, and what if no ninja warrior (Sorry Billybop), and because they also share model congress/day student.
If you’re not submitting SSAT scores, then Choate’s understanding of your school’s grading system is really critical. How many students go to Choate each year from your school? Did your school tell you that you shouldn’t submit SSATs?
