ESSAYS
Common app - 8/10 Wrote about my name (I am named after a mountain) and how that mountain has impacted my life because I was able to literally traverse the mountain
Supplemental - 10/10 Wrote about my scientific research and how Cornell would help foster that. Spoke really specifically on things I learned during my two visits to campus.
RECCOMENDATIONS:
Teacher Rec #1: Science Teacher. Has given me the science award in both 9th and 11th grade - I am really close to her due to my science fair work
Teacher Rec #2: Computer Science teacher. Has known me for 5 years, I was part of the pilot AP Comp Sci program at our school last year as one of two students (the other who also got a rec from this teacher is at CMU for CS)
Counselor Rec: Has known me well for 5 years, really close to her she definitely is able to talk about me in depth
Additional Rec: During the summer I interned at the Baltimore Child Abuse Center and the director of the operation (who is also a Cornell alum) wrote me a recommendation
