Couple things: AP Computer Science AB no longer exists, there’s no point in taking both Math I and II (just take II), and it’s difficult to gauge your standing without any test scores. You’re on the right track, but you really don’t have much business making a chances thread as a sophomore.

Your extra curricular activities are impressive. I’ll rate this as incomplete, since there is a lot of room for you to move up or down in the next two years.

DTXJunior - I asked my current Comp Sci teacher about CS AB, and he said he was familiar with the topics - I also asked my college counselor who said even though it was discontinued I could take it as a regular course, but not take the AP exam (since there is none). It’s an AP level course that would be offered without the exam, topics and everything covered.

Just to clear that up.

UPenn: Reach
MIT: Reach
Columbia: Reach
Harvard: Reach

UMI: Score 26+ on the ACT or 1800+ on the SAT and you’ll get a better chance for anything other than Ross or engineering. Otherwise aim for 2000+/29+.

UIUC: Score 24+ on the ACT or 1700+ on the SAT and you’ll get a better chance for anything other than business or engineering. Otherwise aim for 2000+/29+.

For Rutgers: what is your intended major? Rutgers SAS/SEBS/MG are all known to accept almost anyone with 3.7 with ACT scores 21+ or SAT 1550+ (and ECs like yours). For engineering and business you might want to score 30+ on the ACT or 2050+ on the SAT. As for pharmacy 0-6, it’s 2200+ and almost like entering UPenn.

In case you suck at taking standardized tests, then try Bates or Bowdoin.

Your GPA is low for UPenn. Most admits have never made below an A in their life. I don’t understand how you expect to raise it when junior and senior year are much harder. It’s almost impossible to rate without test scores, so come back when you’re a junior and you may get better rates. EC’s are good, maybe throw in some community service hours for kicks. Oh and colleges don’t care where you visited unless you did something there.
