Visited Drake a few months ago and I like the school a lot. I want to major in Poli Sci and I like the idea that I would be in Des Moines during the Iowa Caucus in 2020. I hope that I will get in but the real question is money. My family is sending three kids to school in the same year and my dad was recently laid off. Do I have any real shot at aid from here? If not, can y’all point me to any schools that fit my needs? I will be applying reg decision. Thanks guys!

Drake does offer Merit Scholarships. Some you don’t need to specifically apply for, the review for those just come automatically with your application. Then there are others that you do have to apply for, going all the way up to a full ride. You seem to have a strong background and might be a good candidate for merit aid.
