  • so far 3.7 unweighted GPA
    • freshman year (AP human geo, algebra 2, honors English, Spanish, gym/health, physical science)
    • Sophomore year (APUSH, AP lit & comp, AP stats, Honors chem, intro to engineering ://, Spanish)
  • Will be an IB diploma candidate
  • studying my ass off for ACT & SAT, probably near perfect scores

Actually take the ACT or SAT.

Get more ECs that align with your academic interests

If you are a sophomore, how do you already have three and four years of your ECs? Are you projecting ahead?

Agree with GoBears2023… pick up an EC that is at least somewhat related to a field of study you are or might be interested in for college.

  1. With acceptance rates generally under 10% Ivy League schools (and their equivalents) MUST be considered as reaches for any unhooked applicant. There are simply not enough spots for every worthy applicant.

2)You are a sophomore with no standardized testing, just one year of a GPA, and ECs that are not quite fleshed out yet. It is not at all constructive to start chance threads at this point.
