You definitely need to raise your math scores for engineering.

BTW any thoughts on van Persie?

Subject tests are not measured out of 2400; they are each measured individually. You should definitely retake the math II test and use a calculator this time. Judging by your other subject test scores, it looks like you should be able to do well on the math if you study and bring a calculator. You also may want to retake your ACT, as a 30 is on the low end of things.

Argh! Van Persie is a judas.

I know man. Just pitching it out of 2400 made my math score look not too bad.

I know man. I will be able to score better on the ACT and the Math subject test, but I promised myself to not get obsessed with taking standardized tests. These were my first and only attempts. I have genuine love for the school and if they wanna put a number on that, so be it. I’m not taking another standardized test ever.

I understand not wanting to take any more standardized tests, and I understand the resentment towards putting a number on your passion. Unfortunately, that is the way college admissions works. If you are putting your foot down for any more standardized tests, then all you can do is wait and hope for the best.

I will wait and hope for the best. A rejection won’t be a surprise.
