Schools
(List of colleges by your initial chance estimate; designate if applying ED/EA/RD; if unsure, leave them unclassified)
Trying to apply ED to UChicago, and EA or RD to rest of the schools.

If he is a true recruited athlete, he will be offered an almost guaranteed admission at the schools you listed, provided he commits to one and applies ED there.

If what you mean by recruited athlete is that the coach has said nice things to you but has not offered full support, these schools will be reaches with GPA and test scores at or below median. You can Google “CDS[name of school]” to see where your son stacks.

This isn’t how athletic recruiting generally works.

Nearly all recruited athletes apply ED. Have any of these coaches offered you support through the admissions process?

FWIW Atlanta, Emory University’s location, has one of the most active tennis communities in the USA.

As you are probably aware, the schools will expect to be paid in US dollars. (My attempt at humor.)

You have a list of outstanding schools, but might–due to your interest in tennis–want to consider some more warm weather colleges and universities (located in states like Texas, South Carolina, Florida, Arizona, and in Southern California).

@Winston5: as you’re a recruited athlete, could you confirm the list of schools at which you have successfully passed your pre-reads?

It is then for you to ask each coach to confirm whether they would give you their strongest support if you apply ED (including the number of recruited this year, your tank amongst them, which position you would play, single and/or doubles), and then tell one coach that you’re applying there ED, and inform the other coaches accordingly.

Best of luck.
