Chance me for 10th grade boarding schools

Schools: Exeter, Andover, SPS, Choate, Deerfield, Loomis for 10th grade

Grades - Mainly A’s and only 1-2 B’s in non academic subjects
I also take chemistry, physics, math and coding at an 11th - 12th grade level.

ISEE: I haven’t taken it yet but will probably score well

Awards:
I have international ranks of 22 and 24 out of 2 million participants in the international english olympiad

I qualified for NSLC and Access USA scholarships through an awards program.

Showcased 15+ original paintings in my school’s art gallery, collectively valued at over
80,000

Ranked among the top 50 internationally (out of 268,000 participants) in the Logiquids
Exam, a prestigious logic-based Olympiad

Served as Vice Captain and Captain of my zonal basketball team for two consecutive years, successfully leading the team to the state-level tournament, surpassing over 300 competing
teams.

Extracurriculars:

  • I’ve played basketball for 5 years
  • I’ve participated in speech and debate and am one of the top debaters in the city
  • I learn French online as my school doesn’t offer any foreign languages
  • I love to cook

Other:

  • Applying for partial or full financial aid .

I think your stats are great! Unfortunately the schools you have chosen have very low acceptance rates and if you would really like to go to boarding school I would suggest you cast the net a little bit wider. There are many great schools with higher acceptance rates who would love to have you. Applying for partial or full financial aid may also lower your chances so I really hope you think about applying to some toher schools as well.

No doubt you are a great candidate and I agree re casting a wider net as there are many great candidates and few spots. Can you explain what the art and valuable is, additionally how you achieved the levels of success that you have within the confines of your time ( studying, going to school. Doing the activities, sleeping, etc)? I worry so many students are thinking they need to have these grand laundry lists of activities that

  1. Don’t hone in on passion, and
  2. That are questionable in re: credibility.
