<p>Hello everyone. Obviously I am here in the chance forum because like so many other members I believe that you guys give great advice on what we can do to get in to the schools we hope for and I also appreciate that most of you are very honest. I made one of these a few weeks back but unfortunately I put it in the wrong forum so no one responded and now I have a better idea of where I would like to go to school.</p>

<p>The schools that I am interested in are UCLA(I figure that’s a high reach), University of South Carolina, NC State, UNC, Clemson</p>

Resident of Maryland
Class of 2013
GPA: 3.45/4.0 UW 3.95 Weighted
PSAT: 1700 (Have not taken the SAT yet)
I attend a pretty well respected public school
By the end of my junior year I will have taken 4 AP classes
I also have had several medical setbacks, some of which i still have, so hopefully that could prove to be effective in my essays when I apply next fall. I also am hard of hearing if that helps at all.</p>

<p>Some ECs I can think of off of the top of my head:
High School Baseball, ASL Honors Society (pending), over 100 SSL Hours, This year I will be involved in a fundraiser for deaf schools in poorer countries, NJHS, and maybe a few more little things. I plan to do a few ore things during the summer to boost my resume.</p>

<p>You should list your ECs so we can get a better picture of your interests and abilities. :slight_smile: top schools count more than just numbers, so that would help! </p>
