Essay is pretty strong, talked about how family taught me to take all my opportunities specifically in education and connected that to my work on the senate campaign through a metaphor

BC women’s sailing was the national champions last year. Have you connected with the coach. Or at least to help the team. Might help.

Your work experiences are so cool! I think many colleges would love to read some supplements on being an ice cream scooper or working at a local yacht club! You seem incredibly qualified. About your grades, it really depends on the classes you took. If it’s a challenging/engaging set of classes, it might be overlooked. Tbh I personally don’t think GPA matters as much as people assume. Barnard is known for accepting students with high GPAs–but not always! Your essay sounds really sharp, connecting your ecs to your family and your life mission. Try getting an optional rec letter from one of your employers or maybe your coach?
