What is your unweighted GPA?

Assuming all options are affordable, your list looks good to me.

School does not provide it. I calculated it myself to be 3.82

Thanks. I’ll update your title to include UW.

What is your rigor - meaning what level of math did you get to, besides stats. Did you take Calculus?.

Are 3 APs only because that’s what you took or your school offers few?

How high in Social Science how many years of foreign language, how many lab sciences did you take?

  • Business or business related - just to make sure we’re on the same page, Econ is not business. Many use as a substitute, but it’s an entirely different academic set - including the electives, etc.

Will do full pay if necessary You’re EDing to BC. So you are committing to paying over $90K a year, potentially encroaching on $100K.

Just making sure you understand the signifcance.

Can give you more feedback after I learn more about you.

First 3 years of Math were Honors got all As.

School offered more APs in 11th grade but I took only 3 to balance out my other activities.

3 years of Spanish Honor and 3 years of History Honor. All As.

Biology Honor in 9th (B+). Chem Honor in 10th (A). Physics Honor in 11th (A).

Will full pay but I won’t say no to some merit based money. But I think I won’t get any.

If you apply ED to BC and get in you are correct.

If you don’t get in or don’t ED, you’ll get some at some on your list.

If cost were an issue, you could attend solid B schools for 30% of BC’s cost.

As for your list, I’d lean against BC but you never know. Villanova too.

UMD, UMass and Fordham yes with UMD the hardest of the three.

Babson a toss up but you are full pay. That will help.

SU and GW are likely if demonstrating interest. Lehigh possible but less. I wouldn’t expect BU, NYU or Emory but you never know.

If you have Babson, why not Bentley ?

What is your goal with this degree ?

You say you want merit but built an expensive list beyond UMASS.

IF you want other possibilities, state the budget - I want merit is not saying - I want $25k or $40k - and any limitations like geography etc.

But you’ll have some choices from this list.

Reach - NYU (Stern), Emory

Low Reach - BC (assume they take at least 1 and up to 5 each year from HS), so depends on the number and the others.

Target - Villanova, Babson, BU

Low Target - Lehigh, GW, UMD

Safety - U Mass, Fordham, Syracuse

Would be shocked if you get denied from BC. Not sure why you chose to ED to BC instead of Stern or Emory?

Not taking Calculus going to minimize your chance. Both BU and Babson mentioned they require Calculus.

It’s interesting and it shows you the unknown with chancing - @Butterfly2022 and myself see issues but @Maryland85 signals BC is a slam dunk.

It’s just so unpredictable

Where students may get a big lift vs. past years is the international kids or lack there of.

I think all anyone can say is that BC is a reasonable ED application so give it your all. Also glad to see you have a well balanced list.

I think you have a good shot at BC ED, especially if you are Catholic (you didn’t say, but they favor this).

Villanova EA has an acceptance rate in the mid teens so I would call it a reach just for that reason. Same for BU RD, which is even lower.

You should get GW and Syracuse if you show interest.

OP stated in the initial post that they are taking Calc BC senior year.
