Schools
(List of colleges by your initial chance estimate; designate if applying ED/EA/RD; if unsure, leave them unclassified)

  • Highly Likely: IU EA
  • Likely: UT Austin EA
  • Toss-up: UNC EA (Either here or Lower Probability)
  • Lower Probability: Georgetown EA (probably low probability)
  • Low Probability: UPenn RD

I would guess that UT McCombs is in the low probability category.

odds are with you for Kelley IMO, a toss-up at UTA and against you at UNC, GT, and UP.

Meaning no limit or no money?

Outside of top 5% rank Texas residents, UT Austin should be considered lower probability at best. Add in applying to a more competitive major makes it even less likely.

When you do a chance me titled reach schools - you kind of know.

Don’t forget UNC is not direct admit. You may attend, apply and not get into the B school.

I’d say little chance at all with the exception of IU - I’d assume yes but they have gone holistic so there’s no way to know. But you are well above the past required stats.

You need more, IMHO.

UT is a target non McCombs and IU a safety non Kelley but I think you are looking for the b schools.

Good luck.

Congrats on your accomplishments. IMO, other than IU all of the schools on your list appear to be reaches. Take your shots, but also consider adding another one or two match/safety options.

Agree that McCombs is lower probability. However, not all schools at UT are lower probability for this student. I would put Liberal Arts Econ Major (still selective) as a target for in state student with these stats. Lots of high rank non-auto in state kids kids who want business go that route.

And UNC OOS is low probability for sure. Their OOS acceptance rate is single digit.

Consider A&M Mays. It’s a low target if you’ve already applied. I think it fills up though.

Georgetown is probably the smallest enrollment on your list. Is that because you prefer bigger schools?

I got in a few weeks ago! They filled up extremely quickly.

I do like bigger schools, but the size isn’t a major factor in deciding a campus

I don’t have a set budget right now so no limit as of now (will decide based on the schools that accept me)

Great that you have TX A&M as an assured (and I’m guessing affordable) acceptance! Fine to take your shots only at schools you prefer to that (excellent) option. Congrats.

I’m glad you mentioned A&M now. Had you mentioned it earlier I’d have said take your shots but no matter what you already have a great home.

You got into the b school ?

Congrats.

Have you considered Babson? Very much an international focus.
