Do I have a shot at cal? It’s my dream school. I applied L&S Undeclared.

I wonder which one is displayed on Berkeley’s website: the averaged capped UCGPA or the average uncapped one.

End result: Reach (although reachable)

Your unremarkable ECs and lower-than-average scores/GPA mean that your essays are the only things standing in the way of a denial.

Also, while I wont speculate, saying that you spent 2 hours per school day on being VP and Secretary looks suspect.

Cal is likely a reach.

You have so and so ecs for Berekly. They are good for most other schools. Your GPA is arround average yet your SAT Scores are a bit low.

You probbably wont get in.

REACH

Thanks for posting, everyone
I’ve kind of accepted that I probably won’t get in, as there’s huge competition and my GPA is a bit low.
BuBBLES FoR SALE- I actually did spend that much time, because I’ve had to organize events (which took up a lot of time), lead events, manage club hours and attend frequent officer meetings. The time is approximated, but not fabricated by any means.
Hopefully the first word of my letter will be “Congratulations” If not, there’ll be other schools that fit me :)
