  • 20 hrs work/wk office job
    -100 hrs total community service in food bank and children’s home over the course of CC by end of fall
  • solid leadership positions from HS
  • Blog for an online newspaper
  • Executive producer of a film at local film festival (I don’t know if I should include this; it was a lot of work albeit unrelated to my major :P)
  • Honors, Dean’s List, PTK</p>

<p>This is not intended to be an ego-boost (although it conveniently did have that effect). I really do feel light on the EC’s and I want some suggestions.</p>

<p>He had every right to ask. I read somewhere on this forum where someone with a 3.9 GPA got rejected from UCLA for econ or something. Haha.</p>

<p>Hi, I’m currently at a CCC, Anthropology Major.
My gpa dropped to 2.96 this Summer. Fall quarter hasn’t started yet but i’m hoping to have a 3.17 by then.
EC: hospital work, teaching kids, mammoth excavation, red cross and anthro club.
Any chance in UCD,UCB,UCLA,UCSC,UCSB?? Do my fall grades count when they make their decision?</p>
