It’s a low reach for you.

Gotcha. I took august SAT so hopefully my SAT scores 1540+ cause that puts me 50th percentile+

I tried asking for some sort of tell as to my chances but their answer was inconclusive. What I can tell you is that a record number of 13 people got admitted (out of a class size of about 95)

I’m not sure if that trend will continue though.

IMO it is impossible to reasonably chance for the hyper-competitive schools. You will be one of many viable, accomplished, and worthy candidates.

Carnegie Mellon is a reach for everyone. You obviously will be quite competitive, but the chances are vague for schools like CMU since their institutional priorities vary year to year and the applicant pool can be vastly different.
