I was going to suggest Agnes Scott, as well. The area where it is located in Atlanta (Decatur) is absolutely lovely and feels like a small college town but has the benefit of being well connected to a city with a big airport and lots to do. It is also a very liberal school that is very LGBTQ+ inclusive.
I also want to add a word of caution on Evergreen. While I think Olympia is a really cool town that sounds like a good fit for you, I have heard some pretty alarming things from friends who work there/used to work there. They are facing concerning enrollment declines, big budget deficits, maintenance issues, etc. I also have had a few students over the years transfer out from there and have some huge issues with their prior coursework transferring to their new degree program because of the grading system and course types. Not a lot was accepted by other schools towards gen ed requirements, unfortunately.
I’m glad to see you added SOU to your list. The husband of a friend of mine teaches there and it sounds like a really nice town and school overall.
