Hi, I’m an international student and I will be applying to Cornell

Academic stats:

ACT: 30+ (just took it haven’t got results yet)

SAT 2: Math 2 780, Physics 590(will retake)

As-Level: AAA for Math, Further Math, Business Studies, C for geography

Predicted A-Level: AAA* B

I suggest you to retake Math 2 as well. I was told that a non-800 Math 2 score is going to hurt you because it has a very lenient curve. (most of my friends got 800)

What about your extracuriculars?

Not that well but have some…

Math club committee
Performing arts(this wasted me a lot of time)
Creative media club(photo taking, post productions, etc…)

It’s horrible right?

and tutoring for the low-income students in my schools

Don’t retake math 2… I can guarantee you that steckabrag is not in college if he thinks that a 800 versus a 780 will help you.

I think I’m not going to re-sit 2C, because I’ve read people’s opinion that anything 750+ makes no difference during admission process, but still thanks for the thoughts.
