Chance me for Deerfield please :)

I am currently a sophomore, doing pre-IB. My schedule would look like
Pre-IB Biology B+
Algebra 2 Diff B+
Economics Perspectives A
World Experience ( pre-IB English and IB Wld History combined) A
Spanish 3/4 A
Photojournalism A

In addition to me not being smart, at all, I really had a bad week, so I got a 150 on my PSAT.

Extracurriculars-
JV Tennis
Tennis Manager for JV Girls
Speech Team
Upward Bound
EnvironMentor
Science Bowl
Youth Leadership Lincoln
Leadership Board
Volunteer at hospital once a week
Volunteer at People’s City Mission

I didn’t really get much awards besides being 1/5 person chosen for Excellence at school, hahaha. Second place at speech meet for Exempt? :D

My interview and recommendations should be superb.

Can someone chance me? I don’t think my profile stands out that much, especially with my poor PSAT score and my late application. Percentage anyone? Or a number out of 10? D:

I go to Deerfield so lemme ask you a few questions before I give a final verdict:

You need to show that you can help the school in some way, such as sports or music or anything like that. good grades alone cannot guarantee you a spot into any boarding school nowadays. What are you really good at?

Did you apply for financial aid? If so, your chances just went down a lot. Most boarding schools like full pay (obviously).

Are you going to apply for junior year or repeat sophomore? I believe sophomore is harder to get into but don’t take my word for it.

Did you interview yet? How did it go?
