I have been told that my personal statement is extremely insightful to who I am and emotional because I talk about my abandonment issues and my transition as a boy on a Korean garlic farm to a student in America.
My writing supplement I feel is a bit average, but nevertheless, I talk about how my thirst for engineering came from experiencing the inconveniencies caused by the technological deficiencies of a rural farm

And thanks again!

shameless self-bump

shameless self-bump #2

Ivies are always pretty much unpredictable, but I think you have a good shot. I know someone who got into Cornell’s Agriculture and Life Sciences school (ED) with less than what you have. My guess is that the engineering school is more difficult to get into, but I think you have a pretty good shot. Maybe like a low reach, just because it’s an ivy. Good luck!

I think you’re in, but no one can really know for sure. You’re an awesome, unique, academically qualified applicant! Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Anyone else?

I’d say you have a good shot considering you have solid academics, good sports success, and a general focus on helping others in your ECs. It’s probably a low reach still because it’s Cornell and nothing really stands out in regards to your application. Just write good essays and I’m sure you’ll get in!
