Yeah you’re definitely in, just apply EA.
Your profile looks great, but I have a question about your GPA. Is that GPA calculated the way that Georgia Tech calculated GPA? Georgia Tech counts only core courses, like math, science, english, history, and foreign language. Also, they give half a point extra for all AP classes and no extra points for honors classes. http://www.admission.gatech.edu/apply/programs-high-schoolers/move-when-ready/admission-process
Great, thanks guys!
So, to clarify, is my GATech score basically 780 M + 35E (780) + 33E/W (740) = 2300 Composite?
If not, how exactly do I calculate this? The website is a bit unclear…
Bump!
I’d say you have very good chances. Your SAT scores, course rigor, and numerous extracurriculars and involvment are excellent. How did you get an interview? I thought interviews were only for non-native english speakers or potential presidential scholars.
Also how are you taking so many APs? Did you independently study any of them?
Sorry, I wrote this for another organization. I used the CC format to summarize all of my stats/achievements.
I did not have an interview with GeorgiaTech. Please ignore that section of my stats.
And yes, I definitely self-studied a lot of the APs. Easier ones, such as APES and Psych and Human Geo.
MOST definitely. Wow.
Safety.
Your ECs are great, and I think they will help you a lot. I think it’s a Match/High Match school.
