Chance Me for Hippie Schools!

Current Junior

All-girls private school
Sends about 8 students out of 50 per class to top schools

Test Scores:
SAT M-720 CR-670 W-670 Composite-2060 (will be retaking to boost CR and W which should be possible since I scored 70 CR on PSAT)
SAT Subject Tests
*Will be taking Math II (projected score of ~750), Literature (probably a mid 600s score), and US History (probably ~700)
PSAT - 200 (possible commended)
AP Euro - 4
AP Art History - 4

GPA - 3.97 weirdly weighted 3.89UW
Rank - Top Quintile, I’d estimate I’m about 6 in my class of 50

Course Load - All honors freshman year, all honors and 2 AP soph year (only one in grade to take 2), all honors and 3 AP junior year, 4 APs senior year. It is definitely most rigorous and my GC said she will make a note that it is the #1 hardest schedule in my grade.

Chance me at these schools (please add if you think merit aid is a possibility where applicable):
-Oberlin
-Swarthmore
-Goucher
-Hampshire
-Warren-Wilson
-William and Mary
-NYU
-Bryn Mawr
-Haverford
-Franklin and Marshall
-Kenyon
-Wesleyan
-Penn State Honors College
-University of Delaware Honors College
-Brown
-Brandeis
-Smith
-Dickinson

And I’ve heard that disabilities can be hooks and I have epilepsy. I don’t know if that helps anything or if I should include it on my app.

200 is not a high enough PSAT score for any recognition.
I’m only going to estimate for schools I know about.
-Swarthmore- reach
-William and Mary- match
-NYU- high match
-Bryn Mawr- low reach
-Kenyon- reach
-Wesleyan- low reach
-Brown- high reach
-Brandeis- high match/ low reach

Your stats, SAT’s specifically, are not high enough for honors colleges/ merit aid at pretty much all of these schools.

^Well a few years ago, 200 was commended cut-off. Last year it was 201 so saying that I could possibly get recognition is not outlandish.
And do you mean honors colleges/merit aid for the schools you chanced me for or for my whole list of schools?

Ah, I forgot there are different cutoffs for different states. I’m from a state with one of the highest cutoffs which is why I scored higher than you but received no recognition. I meant for the whole list. Generally from what I’ve seen students need to score upwards of 2150/2200 to get selected for honors colleges/ significant merit aid.
