Hi, guys. I’m looking to get into the honors program at the following colleges since I need their merit scholarships.

Northeastern
Stevens IT
Purdue
IIT
NJIT
U Delaware
George Mason
U Maryland

Lehigh

I’m a female going into CS as well, so I suppose that’ll help.

35 ACT (only took once)
2230 SAT (waiting for scores for new SAT on the 21st)
1490 PSAT (haven’t gotten results yet on NMF/NMSF)

800 Sat II Math II
760 Sat II Physics
740 Sat II Math I

4.59 GPA weighted out of 5.0
4.0 GPA unweighted out of 4.0

Physics C mechanics: 5
Physics C electricity/mag: 5
Calculus BC: 5
CompSci: 5

Will have taken about 10 dual enrollment courses by end of senior year, all As

~Extra curricular~
Captain of Science Olympiad Team (Almost 40 medals from Science Olympiad from 6th to 11th grade, state and regional competitions)
Art stuff
Founder of small volunteer group
Volunteer at a few other places
Write for newspaper at a science museum

I’m homeschooled, so I’ve had some difficulty in getting extracurriculars in my area.

It should be noted that honors does not equal merit, and same the other way around, at some schools. I know that in particular is true with Northeastern - you can get both Honors and no merit as well as merit and no honors.

With all of these schools and your stats, you should have a good shot at any merit they offer - you will be in at least the top 25% at every one

You would likely be in the top 25% of applicants to Illinois Tech and so you would probably be in the running for the Camras scholarship and be invited to interview weekend in February.
