<p>I am a Cuban female from a public school in Florida. I am a National Merit Semifinalist, a National Hispanic Recognition Scholar, and a National AP Scholar.</p>

<p>I’ve applied REA for Stanford and EA for UNC Chapel Hill. I am apply to these schools regular decision: Harvard, Penn, Rice, Emory, Georgetown, Columbia, NYU & Barnard.</p>

<p>My GPA: 4.0 (6.13 weighted)
Rank: 1 of 384 students
Tests:
SAT (best combined) 2160 (reading 730, math 690, writing 740)
ACT: 34 (reading 36, writing 36, math 32, science 30)
SAT Subjects: US History 710, Math level I 680, Lit 650(I just retook it, so I might have improved)</p>

<p>I will have taken 16 AP classes by the end of my senior year, which is the most challenging course load possible. I score mainly 4’s and 5’s on AP tests, with one 3 on World History.</p>

Debate team (President) 4 years
National Honor Society (Other Officer), 3 years
National Spanish Honor Society (Member) 3 years
Powderpuff football (not a varsity sport) -2 years
Habitat for Humanity (member) 2 years
Relay For Life Team Captain & participant (past 4 years)</p>

<p>I have done summer programs at Georgetown for sports industry management and last summer I studied international law at Duke University and traveled with the program to the Hague (Netherlands).</p>

<p>So…What are my chances??</p>

<p>Besides the point, I think you have a solid application. Don’t forget that, sans transcript, recommendations and essays are some of the most important parts of the application. Also, may I suggest that you apply to a safety school?</p>

<p>Yes you can because chapel hill is a public school. I think you have a great shot at all those schools. You’ll definitely get into an multiple ivys cause your so impressive an have a hook. You’ll have some great choices when deciding where to go. Good luck!</p>

<p>I’m applying to UMiami for a safety, I will likely get scholarship money from them</p>

<p>I can apply to UNC early action because Stanford’s REA option does make an exception for public schools. I mean, I would say my weaknesses would be lack of any artistic, or musical talent and that I never played a varsity sport.</p>

<p>UNC is a safety for you with those stats and having the Cuban background</p>

<p>Reality is you’re in everywhere you applied most likely outside of Harvard & Stanford and you’re a strong candidate for both. </p>

<p>Being Cuban is huge and you have great stats…(Puerto Rican/Cuban/Mexican) is the golden ticket for applicants w/hispanic backgrounds. </p>

<p>I am apply to these schools regular decision: Harvard, Penn, Rice, Emory, Georgetown, Columbia, NYU & Barnard - Penn/Columbia I’d say you’re 80% in to either and the rest are much less difficult to get into relatively speaking</p>
