Understood but if you can advise from other things perspective, it will be helpful and I can work towards improving certain items

Start standardized test prep as soon as possible. Did you take the PSAT 10 yet?

I would also advise you to improve your writing, especially with regards to writing your application essays. I don’t know if you posted on a phone, but your writing style is really awkward (formatting/punctuation issues, capitalization problems). Find a favorite English teacher to review/proofread anything you write so that it flows better.

Remember that any ECs should be from when you started high school. So you have been swimming for 10 years but only the time you spent in high school would count, unless you are a national/international level swimmer.

The President’s Volunteer award is generally given senior year of high school, so don’t assume that you have been awarded it quite yet.

Just keep getting good grades, taking rigorous courses and being active in your school and community.

Thank you for the reply. I maintain spread sheet of things I do and just simply extracted from that and posted it. I agree, I will focus more on writing. President volunteer award is from the program where I teach swimming for autistic kids. About EC, I will list only from high school. I have taken PSAT 10 - 1240 without preparation and working hard for PSAT 11. I took SAT chem in June, waiting for my results. Summer, going to focus on SAT so that can take in October. Let me know any of EC activities add noise then I can try to take it out so that list only focused ECs.

Thank you. So far, I have taken only challenging courses offered by my school and will continue to do for future years.
Getting better grade is my number one goal for next year to bring up my GPA.

Try to make test preparation and writing your primary focuses. If you can get the PSAT in the 1450 range, you will be considered for at least National Merit Commended. Get it higher for a shot at NMF.

The writing might take some work. I assume that English is not your first language. If you can’t find a teacher, ask a classmate to review everything you write. It seems to me from your posts that you are thinking in the language you are most comfortable with while writing in English.
