Wharton - Reach
Princeton - Reach
Chicago - Low Reach (but obviously depends on your essays)

If we are to judge only based on if you get a scholarship at the following universities, here’s what I would say.

University of Michigan - High Match
Vanderbilt - High Match
Notre Dame - Low Reach
University of Virginia - High Match

Props to Rotary! I always love seeing that fellow students participate in it.

Anyway, considering that you are an ORM, the 2140 doesn’t put you in good standing for Wharton and Princeton. I could see you being accepted into the rest, including UChicago.

May I ask what does ORM stand for?

If I could raise my SAT to 2250+, does that significantly increase my chances?

ORM = over-recruited minority (Asian-American).

I don’t know about significantly, but it would definitely raise your chances.

UPenn-Wharton - high reach
Princeton - high reach
University of Chicago - mid reach

University of Michigan - low reach (OOS)
Vanderbilt - match
Notre Dame - match
University of Virginia - low reach

UT-Austin - safety

Just being nit-picky but it’s Ivy League. There are no other leagues.

And also there’s no point in chancing when you’re junior because so many things could happen differently during that year.

I’d be shooting for 2300 plus for a shot at Wharton and Princeton.
