Chance me for Ivys (Help me choose?!) , Rice, UT Plan II Honors Program

HI! I would like to apply to an Ivy, but I’m not sure which would best suit me. I am a STEM major looking into pre-dentristry or pre-optometry but also enjoy classes in history, english, and foreign languages. I have just finished my junior year of high school. Here are my stats so far:

GPA (weighted): 105.521
PSAT: percentile- 98, score- 1360, index number 209 (live in Texas)
SAT (10th grade, old scale): 2040
SAT (just took again, new format, predicted score): 1500
ACT (about to take, predicted score): 32

Clubs: Interact Club, UIL Current Events, UIL History, UIL Literary Criticism, 1 year JV Swimming Team, 3 years Varsity Choir, 1 year Show Choir, 3 years Mixed Choir, 3 years Mu Alpha Theta, NHS

Awards/Leadership Positions: 3 years State Solo and Esemble for choir, Student of Character Award, NHS Historian, Choir Historian, (AP Scholar Award- prediction), NHRP candidate

AP Coursework:
Taken: AP World History (4), AP Computer Science (1, yikes!), AP Calculus AB (predicted 3), AP Physics 1 (predicted 3), AP Chemistry (predicted 3), AP Lang (predicted 5), APUSH (predicted 5)
Will Take: AP Bio, AP Government, AP Environmental Science, AP Lit, AP Cal BC

Talents: Synesthesia

For Ivys, the larger schools are preferable, but I’m becoming more open-minded.

This is what I can think of off the top of my head. All of these college stats can get quite overwhelming! Thank you for your input and advice!

Are you interested in liberal arts colleges also? For example Amherst, and Carleton college, but each are 2,000 or smaller and you prefer a larger campus. They are almost in the same league as ivys.

@NerdyGirl this might help you navigate through your undergraduate classes if you have your eyes on optometry :sunglasses: http://www.opted.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/ASCO-Prerequisites-May-2016.pdf You should still go to the individual school websites and look for extra classes that they require. For example, I think that Berkeley is the only optometry school that requires an immunology class in undergrad.
