Chance me for Kent!

<p>Hi I recently applied to Kent and was wondering what you guys thought my chances were as an in coming freshman.</p>

<p>8th Grade Science A-
8th Grade Language Arts A
8th Grade History A
Geometry (high school credit) Honors A
Spanish 1 (high school credit) A
Technology A</p>

<p>I didn’t take the SSAT because I was originally planning on applying for next year , but the admissions office said that if I hurried that I could still get in (hence why I’m only applying to Kent). However when I was in 7th grade (last year) I took the ACT and got a composite score of 18. </p>

<p>I play elite AAA ice hockey for one of the best 1996 hockey teams in the country, and run cross country for my school.</p>

<p>My ACT score of 18 composite score was in the 45-50%tile for highschool seniors when I took the test as a 7th grader</p>

<p>Depends on what your SSAT score is. Kent’s average score is a 70%, but I know a kid there with a score much lower than that. If you’re score is a 90%, I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in. You definitely have the grades for Kent, and you seem to be involved in extracurriculars. Good luck.</p>

<p>ifax108, just curious, what was the general range of the SSAT the person you know at Kent had.</p>

<p>I think I saw somewhere else that he said he had a friend with a 59%tile ssat get into kent… could be wrong</p>
