I’m worried about my EC’s because I know that a lot of other kids have like 10+ EC’s on their lists. I’m currently working on starting up a volunteer service with a friend of mine for people to tutor mentally disabled kids, and another friend has asked me to help him establish a branch of the National Technical Honors Society at our school.I’m expecting to add NHS and Social Studies Honors society to the list next year, and maybe speech and debate

I would say you have a shot. It’s impossible to how how good that shot it but I think you have one. I don’t think your EC’s are super weak, not exceptional strong, but not weak. I wouldn’t try to join a couple extra clubs senior year just to put them on a resume. Colleges want quality not quantity. I would try to go all in something like robotics or other EC’s of the sorts. Speech and debate are very different from what you’re career goals are, not that they’re not good overall, but they seem like an outlier.
