<p>Essays: Good, I think
Not sure about quality since this is really too subjective. On the topic of grammar and spelling and sentence structure, that’s all good. Content wise should be decent (at least)</p>

<p>Research:
Did 6 weeks of research at RSI on graph theory and information theory - “Communication versus Storage Trade-offs in Data Distribution Systems”</p>

<p>Some more background information:</p>

<p>I got to school on a DoD school in Europe, even though I am a US Citizen and the school I go to is 100% American. It’s a school for kids whose parents are in the military, so I am stationed on a small military base. There are very few opportunities, since the school is small and we live in a foreign country. I know the SAT is on the lower end, especially the Subject Test for Bio - however, the last time I took a biology class was in 9th grade and the teacher had to take a break in the middle of the year due to a family emergency, so I explained that situation on the app. I know it’s not really an excuse, but something I thought was worth mentioning. </p>

<p>Hopefully. I know my SAT I is just a smidge below average (about 20 points ish), but I’m really worried about my SAT II - Bio. Because that’s a full 100 points below bottom 25th percentile of MIT.</p>

<p>I think the interview went well - I guess we’ll just see when the time comes.</p>

<p>Your SAT 1 is good, I think. The GPA is not that great but bc your school does not provide that much opportunities, you will be fine.
Overall, you have a good chances!</p>

<p>I know. I told them about the whole bio issue, and how I took it 3 years ago with a teacher that had to take leave, so I’m hoping it’s not too big of a deal. </p>

<p>Does anyone know how big of a deal the SAT IIs are? Because they are my biggest inhibitors right now.</p>
