On the other hand, when getting a 4 year degree, students can put up with quite a bit of weather that they were not originally used to. I still remember meeting a student at the University of Michigan who had never seen snow until they arrived in Ann Arbor (and not for a few months after arriving). I thought they were very brave, but they did get used to it.
