APs taken: Chemistry, Calculus BC (Scores soon)
ECs:

FPS (ranked 5th in the state for QP, 8th for Statebowl)
MUN (Two awards, 5 conferences, two year member)
Academic Decathlon (5 medals at regional and state level in alternate division, one year member)
37 Hours of Volunteer Work

Other notable things:
Participated in clothing drive
Ranked 44th in the district for tennis

also, I’m an indian male

Thanks guys!

oops, meant NWU, I copied and pasted

It’s a little early to be evaluating your chances for either NU or Princeton.
Wait until you have your junior year grades and SATs or ACTs.

NWU? I didn’t know Northwestern University had a word in the middle…

I just meant it like NorthWesternUniversity? Idk if that’s wrong or not

No, see, Northwestern is one word…

Or NU for short. ;)

Rising joniurs ; please focus on your SAT and your GPA and AP’s and AFTER you have these things come and we’ll chance you . NOT NOW .

Your SAT II’s, GPA, and rank look good as long as you maintain your grades junior year. You’ll need to get your SAT at least 2200+ in order to compete with some of the top applicants. Not to say people with 2100’s don’t get in, but you wanna get as high as possible. You also probably wanna get more volunteer hours (no offense but 37 hours is pretty weak) and more leadership positions. Try to make it obvious from your EC’s what you’re passionate about, for instance if you love math then enter math contests, join teams, etc. Your essay will be important too. Just work on making your resume as impressive as possible!
