I have placed in top 16 of public high schools in the city last 2years and will again this year
I have been a 4 year varsity starter and was co-capatin the previous year
Manager of the girls hs swim team for 2 years
Member of Career Club at my school for one year
Volunteered at hospital
Atteneded the Cooper Union Summer research program where i built a robot
Atttending the columbia university S-Prep program
Member of the Charles Drew Pipeline Program (its a pre-med group that i joined through columbia)

<p>yes it will hurt a lot… your average is low for nyu as well… so you need good sat’s to cover up for that. The average at nyu is about a 3.6 or 92ish while the Sat average is a 2040. So you really need to bring that up.</p>

<p>92 is the average unweighted average at NYU, and they don’t look at weighted averages</p>

<p>I think you can still register for the January SAT…and I would :confused: unless you adamantly refuse to study for it. then I guess stick with whatcha got :slight_smile: your extracurrics look pretty.</p>

<p>would my chances improve because my mom works for one of their hospiitals and my dad got a 1 year degrre from NYU</p>
