Chance me for NYU please?

The title says it all.

GPA: 3.4 UW, 3.9 W.

EC’s: Science Olympiad (went to nationals twice), Russian Club (President), and HOSA. Not a lot of EC’s but, I personally think that in this case less is more.

I’ve been volunteering for a doctor (I want to get into Pre-Med) for about a year now. Would a letter of recommendation from him help me?

SAT: 2240

I am from a town in Alaska with only about 6,000 people and I am a first generation Russian-American (I’m not sure if that helps me).

Thanks!

Your chances for NYU aren’t bad at all! You have extremely high SAT scores and your GPA is in range too. And yes, a recommendation letter from the doctor you’re working with could be a great aspect to your application if he’s willing to write one.
