Hello CC’ers,
I am a rising junior at an elite LAC studying sociology. While I love the academic and social environment of my current school, I think NYU’s MCC program complements my work experience quite well. I’ve strategized marketing for Google, helmed a campus magazine, managed social media for a music personality and built content for Hearst. I am currently pursuing a remote role with Bustle.
While I lacked a smooth transition to college, I’ve maintained a 4.0 the past two semesters in major-related coursework. I earned an “A” in math, B’s in bio & physical science and B’s in the rest… with the exception of intermediate to higher level sociology coursework (4.0 avg.)
I also earned 98th percentile scores on both sections of the GRE.
Do you think I’d be a good fit for NYU? Please be honest but nice to me, thank you
