OOS (Virginia) applying for Media, Culture, and Communication at Steinhardt
My school doesn’t calculate GPA (I think it’s around a 3.5 uw?), but I do the IB (HL Econ, Eng L&L, Geo. SL Math AI, French B, Physics) and have a 36/45 predicted. I went test-optional.

I have one letter of rec from my counsellor which is definitely strong.
My essay is really strong (I had a lot of help from my counsellor). It’s about ketchup as a symbol for my cultural identity (as a dual-citizen), and how I “fit in” through ketchup, and then how I’ve moved away from that mindset and embraced my identity.
