Nominated to play on 2015 all state team for field hockey

Weaknesses: scores, awards, not really any hooks (Idk if being a female interested in engineering is that much of a hook anymore…?), lack of leadership?

Also, I’d say my essays are decent and definitely show that I love science and volunteering. I think my teacher recommendations and counselor rec are good as well. I have recs from my AP physics teacher, IB Chem teacher, IB English teacher, and CEO of the nonprofit organization that intern for.

You have many strong points to your application, but at the same time your ECs can look a little bit average (not yours personally, but pretty much everyone’s do in the Princeton applicant pool). My best advice would be to write amazing essays; that could probably be a potential hook for you. Best of luck!

You will probably get accepted to all of your schools except Columbia and Princeton, which are reaches but still possible depending on essays and such. I’m also from NC!
