Chance me for regular admission, LAH, Plan II

In-state
Homeschooled (no top 9% for me D: )
Act: 31
Gpa: 3.85-ish
National Merit Commended
Didn’t take any AP’s because I was homeschooled.
Instead I took like 39 hours of community college classes dual-credit.
EC’s:
Vice President of local chapter of Home Schooled Honor Society
Directed a few films for a local film club. Also directed a feature-length film during my sophomore year, which my teacher thought was totally awesome.
I have like 50 hours of volunteer work at the local library.
I had a full-time summer job that took up like 40hrs a week.

The really bad news: I didn’t get my honors app in until the 25th of November because I didn’t realize they accepted people before the deadline. Yeah…

I submitted my regular app on the 20th.

I’m guessing Plan II is completely out of the question. Maybe LAH? I think I still have a good shot at regular admissions, though…

looks good! why does submitting the Honors College app late decrease your chances?

Um, I don’t know. I thought I read that on their website…Something about fewer spots available, sense they review applications in the order they receive them, or something.
Now you’re making me second guess myself, haha.

EDIT: I don’t think the same thing applies for regular admissions, though. Just for the honors programs. I might be wrong on that.

I think you’re in for UT. Plan II does review applications as they’re accepted, so the sooner the application the sooner it will be reviewed. It doesn’t necessarily increase anyone’s chance in being accepted, but the later you apply the more competitive it becomes.
