Essays/LORs/Other
Essay focuses on how I am interested in the analytical aspects of baseball (problem solving in strategy on the field and matching players with team needs); how traveling to all 30 stadiums made me interested in travel and how teams connect with their fan bases by the architecture and themes; and how we can use sports to connect with others, referencing my time volunteering for USA Hockey (in HS) and volunteering in Little League to teach autistic children how to play.

Schools
UConn Neag, Sports Management, regular decision

University of Michigan School of Kinesiology, Sport Management, ED

thank you

UCONN I lean in - so low target.

U Mich I think unlikely - reach.

You didn’t mention budget - UCONN is $60K per year and U MIch is $85K the first two years and $90K per year the last two - that’s today’s $$.

Any issues with cost? Both are expensive, especially given the likely outcomes from the degree.

I’d add a safer school - and if cost is an issue, then you need to adapt for that.

Good luck.

SU is a good option to consider in place of Michigan-Ann Arbor. The non-binding Early Action deadline is November 1st and the Regular Decision deadline is January 5th.

Sport Management B.S. Program

Rutgers University, an in-state option, also offers an undergraduate Sports Management program.
